MeitY’s Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0) is a scheme for strengthening close to 2000 Technology Startups in selected areas of national concern. and empowering 51 Incubation Centers suitably divided into three distinct groups viz. Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3 Centres.
SINE is selected as Group 1 (G1) Centre for implementing the TIDE 2.0 scheme –
To handhold and nurture some of the designated TIDE 2.0 G2 and G3 Centres
Support 6 start ups / year under Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) and Grant
TIDE 2.0 scheme aims to train its focus primarily (but not limited to) on technology based entrepreneurship support through use of emerging technologies like IoT, AI, Block-chain, Robotics etc. for eight select thematic areas based on national priorities particularly in the realm of:
Healthcare
Education
Agriculture
Financial inclusion including digital payments
Infrastructure and transportation
Environment and clean tech
Clean energy solutions
Other emerging areas (flexibility to support tech startups to address societal challenges in ICTE areas)
Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) - Develop and validate their idea to have a Proof-of-Concept (POC) under
Grant - To create a minimum Viable Product and to advance the start-up till Go-to-the-market stage.
A EIR funding support upto INR 4 lakhs for development and validation of idea
A Grant funding support upto INR 7 lakhs to build their ideas into prototype.
Access to infrastructure, mentorship
Co-working space as per availability.

10 to 12 months
The applications received under the program, are subject to due diligence of screening process. Only shortlisted participants will be notified/ informed about the final presentation to the monitoring committee.
Screening will be subject to the parameters other than the eligibility, such as Innovation, Potential for commercialization and venture creation, Team capability and Commitment etc.
The decision of the screening committee for approval and funding support will be final, firm and binding.
The final decision of screening committee will be communicated only to the approved applicants via email.
The approved applicants will have to agree for Pre incubation/ Incubation with SINE- TBI as per its incubation policy/terms.
Screening of applications will take 6-8 weeks, from the date of closure of online applications. Only selected candidates will be notified. No communication from SINE within the timeframe may be deemed as non-selection of your application for the program.
